Adnan's pov
I was standing in front of the place where I hated the most, the place where we lost the most precious thing, the place which turned out to life changer, the place why I became a cold-hearted mafia evil. Once again,I am trying to save someone in the same place. This time, I have to either save him or perhaps like her. Will he suffer any consequences?
From behind me, I heard laughter, and guess what? It was the three monkeys, gossiping about the serial episode and not caring about the situation. Sometimes their behaviour is more girly than girls.
"Are you guys done with your research? Are you guys out of theories? Do you want me to give you guys some theories along with a bit more practical?"i asked them in a strong deadly voice while these three idiots stiffened there body.
"Where is the information I asked you for, Ameer?" And sure, if this is where Shanaya's son is, then it would most likely be Oberios"
"This is the caller's information, and I have also located the calls that have been coming from that number." Ameer provided me with the file that included the details and information I requested.
Ameer said firmly, "The caller was none other than Sahil, Shanaya's ex-husband, and also he is the right hand of oberios," and I went over the file carefully.
"So, Ameer, do you mean that the kidnapper is his own father?" Irfan questioned Ameer
"He might be, but perhaps not without telling him. However, I firmly believe that Sahil is involved in this kidnapping."Ameer shared
"What made you think like that?"the rest two asked him.
"He might not be completely wrong, Irfan." I paused and took a deep puff of cigarette. "Remember that I was just 18 years old and working as my dad's assistant when Shanaya joined our company. At the time, our company and Oberios held equal positions in the business sector. In just a few months, Shanaya and I began to increase our company's profit margin. That year, we also won five business awards and took first place in the industry. Even though Oberios began using dirty tactics in our business at that point, it was not enough to affect us. After a few months, we found out that Shanaya was marrying Sahil, who was Oberios' right hand.
"A year later, everything was going well, but our business began to suffer a terrible loss, and Sahil was the cause of this. At the time, he was only working for Oberios, but we found out that they had bribed him, control Shanaya, and steal an important document from our company. Shanaya divorced him after realizing how betraying he had been. Yes, he used to beat her for refusing to give him her credit card, even when she was pregnant. There is a chance that he is the one who abducts his own child because he is a man who will stop at nothing to get money.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"before i could say anything more we heard a scream from inside, "
"Wait, did we hear a woman's scream now?" Rahul inquired, glancing around to determine the source of the voice.
"You see, I already told you that I have a bad feeling about this place, and it is Friday man, and the ghost is yelling at us for ruining their precious time." I truly regret bringing this moron now.
"Guys, now their focus is divereted , i guess it is the perfect time to get in. Ameer and Irfan will enter through the back door, and we will both enter through the side window. And make sure you off the main switch of the current and on it when I give you signals. And rest of you be altered if someone comes out catch them and also obeseve the surrounding." We parted ways after I gave them instructions.
Inaya's pov
There were 11 men in the factory. Few were drinking, playing cards. Three men stood guard at the entrance. The others were packing drugs into boxes. At that exact moment, we heard a phone ring, so they checked their phones simultaneously. but ,it was coming from our direction and guess what this brainless idiot didn't even mute her phone. Why had I brought her here? Hold on, she brought me, didn't she?
I was startled from my thoughts by the sound of footsteps behind the piller, and we were well hidden behind two big, chubby pillar. The voice of footstep was getting louder and louder , if they catch us oh God!! can't even imagine. I shut my eyes and prayed to God to protect us.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa innnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnu there is a giant cockroach close to the pillar." Aloo first yells and a rest she whisper to us.
"What the hell have you done, Alooo? They are definitely going to catch us now."her sister yell at her.
"I am sorry, but look at this creature, dude. It is so big, and its horns are all too scary." I rolled my eyes at her statement and turned to see that everyone was shocked, but why? And saw one of the men come forward with a knife, and he asked, "Who is behind the pillar?"
"I had heard that this factory was haunted, it true? Its my first time here."One of them asks
"There is nothing like a ghost on this planet. Are you a little child or something?shut up and look at what's behind the pillar."The another one man shouted.
"They will definitely kill us if they find us. I haven't had a boyfriend who treats like princess treatment or found a man who says "spent time on me, I will spend the money." What will we do ishoo?" I just rolled my eyes at aloo's drama. Can't she be a bit more serious now? If they catch us it will be more danger. What to do what do.....
"There is a way for us to get away and save that boy as well.Remember they told this factory is haunted and almost half of them believe that this is haunted and others dont. See two are wearing white dress and its Friday night, its very easly to knock down the scared and get distracted. If you act like a ghost and distract them I will take that boy and come from that side door." I said in one breathe while those two was looking me like I murder someone.
"Ishoo, are you crazy or what? There are no ghosts in this world."
"Yeah its true but to them this factory feels like haunted and i guess there are new to this place. So chalo goo and scare them." I said and thank god there didn't ask me anything and starting to scare them. So ,the idea of inaya ali khan is pretty useful I guess.
Aleena and her sister both came out of the pillar. There face was covered with their hair, their eyeliner and lipstick was a bit spread and they was giving perfect ghost look.
"Well didi why they are standing like statue? Did our plan failed? Are we gonna die now?"Aleena whisper while kidnapper was completely statue after seeing them.
"I don't know either and for gods sake can you shut up for few minutes ??"Hadiya was also confused and irritated at same time.
"Wh..... who aaa...are yooooouuu??? One of the kidnappers appears fearless on the outside, but it is clear from his voice that he is terrified on the inside.
"We? Oh who are you to question the queen of the royal ghost world? We are Charlotte elisha anatasia and Caroline isla anatasia. We are the Youngest and powerful queens and you! Who the hell are you? "Aleena dramatical questions them while Hadiya just stared at her.
"We... we are the workers of this f.... factory" the same man answered her.
"This factory? This factory is closed for ages." This time it was hadiya.
"How do you know this factory us closed for ages and are you really a ghost? Because I haven't seen something this beautiful as a ghost" This was a guy who has a big belly fat man walk towards them, seems like he is not fear of ghost instead something else is seen in his eyes 'pervert'.
"YOU A PIECE OF ROCK! HOW DARE YOU TO TALK TO US WITH DISRESPECT? DO YOU KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN YOU TALK TO US WITH DISRESPECT, LET ME SHOW YOU." Then Aleena was laughing-I mean, laughing like the devil at the same the current went off and the kidnappers started to run here and there.
I knew my bestfriend was talented but this was insane. Wow, her laughter as the power went out was unexpected. As I looked around, I noticed a side door that could be used to escape. There are two men nearby where the boy is lying and they were screaming there lungs out. Wow, those who scares everyone with a knife are afraid of a ghost.
I ran towards the child, who is more paler than before and it look like he is fighting for his life. If he did not receive treatment within an hour, his condition would worsen.I picked him up and ran towards the door, but before I could get there, the door burst open.
Adnan's pov
As I entered through the side door, gun drawn, I saw a figure in the darkness. My eyes adjusted slowly, and I saw a pair of eyes staring back at me. The figure held a child in their arms instantly, recognited its shanaya's son.
"Are you here to save or kill this child?" a low, soft voice asked, the tone with hope.
I took a step closer, my eyes locked on the figure. The dim light revealed a glimpse of a face, partially covered by shadows or hair, making it impossible to discern features.
"I'm here to save," I replied firmly, my voice low and even.
The figure didn't respond immediately, as if sizing me up. Then, slowly, they began to move toward me, the child still in their arms.
As the figure took a step closer, the dim light danced across their features, and his heart skipped a beat as he locked eyes with the most captivating hazel eyes he'd ever seen. The eyes sparkled like shards of green and gold glass, flecked with brown, and seemed to bore into his very soul. He was taken aback by their beauty, his gaze lingering on the unique blend of colors that seemed to shift and shimmer in the dim light.
Just as he was about to reach out and gently pull back the shawl from her face, a sudden movement from behind caught his attention. A figure emerged from the shadows, eyes fixed on him with deadly intent. Without hesitation, he drew his gun and prepared to defend himself and the mysterious woman holding the child.
The air was filled with the sound of scuffling footsteps, grunts, and the clash of bodies as he fought off the attacker. The woman watched with a mixture of concern and determination, her hazel eyes never leaving his face as she shielded the child in her arms.
As the fight subsided, he nodded to the woman, his eyes still locked on hers. "Give the child to one of the guards," he instructed, his voice firm but gentle. "You can relax now."
The woman hesitated for a moment before carefully handing the child over to a nearby guard. As she stepped back, two figures emerged from the shadows, their faces illuminated by the dim light.
One of them whispered, "Inaya, who is this?"
The woman glanced at him briefly before responding in a hushed tone, "He's here to save us."
As the dim light from outside cast eerie shadows on their faces, Inaya's eyes met his, and he sensed a flicker of awareness that he had overheard their conversation. Aleena's voice was laced with doubt as she whispered to Inaya, "Are you sure we can trust him?"
Inaya's response was hesitant, her voice barely audible. "I think so, Aleena. He doesn't seem like the others."
Hadiya, Aleena's sister, spoke up, her voice trembling slightly. "But what if he's just pretending? What if he's working with them?"
I really wanted to talk to the hazel-eyed girl, but this morons are not giving me a gap . I was fighting with the kidnappers. When all the kidnappers are knocked down, I ordered Sayyid to switch on the power.
As the power flickered to life, the sudden illumination made Adnan squint. He quickly scanned the area, his eyes locking onto the spot where the hazel-eyed girl had stood moments before. But she was gone. In fact, all three girls had vanished.
Adnan's gaze swept the area, his eyes searching for any sign of them. He took a step forward, his mind racing with questions. Where could they have gone so quickly?
Just then, Ameer's voice cut through the silence. "Adnan, whom are you searching for?" he asked, his tone laced with curiosity.
Adnan's eyes met Ameer's, and for a moment, he hesitated. How could the girls have disappeared so suddenly? He opened his mouth to respond, but the words caught in his throat.
"Sayyid tell the guards to take the kidnappers to basement and make sure shanaya and his son get all needs done" I ordered, and when outside.
As I leaned against the car, puffing on my cigarette, Ameer, Sayyid, and Irfan gathered around me, recounting the events that had transpired. I listened intently, my eyes scanning the surroundings, still on high alert.
But when Ameer started talking about the factory being haunted, I raised an eyebrow. "Didn't I tell you guys this factory was haunted?" he said, a mischievous glint in his eye.
Irfan chuckled. "What happened? Did a ghost come and eat you?"
Ameer's dramatic tale had me intrigued, but also skeptical. "As I entered, I saw a girl in a white dress, fighting those kidnappers? I thought she'd been kidnapped, so I went to help her. But when I touched her, she turned on me, saying, 'How dare you touch the Queen of Royal Ghost!' And then she started fighting me."
Sayyid and Irfan burst into laughter, and I couldn't help but smile. "Seriously, bro, you got beaten by a girl – sorry, a ghost," Irfan teased.
Ameer's face turned red, but he played along, enjoying the banter. I watched them, amused, but my mind kept wandering back to the hazel-eyed girl. Where had she gone? And was Ameer's story just a wild imagination, or was there something more to it?
Inaya's pov
As we caught our breath outside the factory, Aleena's dramatic voice cut through the silence. "Guys, see if that gang didn't come, we could have died now. I did warn you it's a dangerous place."
Hadiya chuckled, her journalist instincts kicking in. "Aree aloo, we saved him, and yeah, I got all the details. They were into drug sales and kidnapping that child. So yeah, it's a story for the morning news."
Aleena's eyes widened dramatically. "Didi, this was risky! We could have died! And I didn't even complete my MBBS course."
I tuned out their banter, lost in thought. A pair of piercing blue eyes flashed in my mind – Adnan's eyes. Who was he? Why did he come to the factory? And what was his relation to the boy who claimed to be his friend?
Suddenly, Aleena and Hadiya's voices broke into my reverie. "Innu, what are you thinking?" Aleena asked, curiosity etched on her face.
I hesitated before sharing my thoughts about the mysterious blue-eyed stranger. Hadiya's eyes lit up. "Oh yeah, I saw his face a bit. I think it's Adnan Zayed Malik."
Aleena's eyes grew dreamy. "He is really handsome in photos. I wish I could see him."
Hadiya's words sparked a memory. "Oh, Didi, as we were fighting, a man came from the entrance and caught me. I fought back, but suddenly he held my hand and said, 'I'm here to help.' When I stopped, he fought back against the kidnappers. But who will he be?"
Hadiya's response was immediate. "He must be Ameer, his best friend, or Sayyid, his assistant, or Irfan, his brother."
I turned to Aleena, teasing her. "Aloo, from where did you get these names – Charlotte Elisha Anatasia and Caroline Isla Anatasia?"
Aleena's face turned bright red as Hadiya chuckled. "Innu, stop teasing her."
As we laughed and joked, I couldn't shake off the feeling that our encounter with Adnan and his friends wasn't a coincidence. Little did we know, destiny had other plans...
As we drove home, Aleena and Hadiya chatted excitedly about the story they'd uncover, while I gazed out the window, wondering if I'd ever cross paths with those piercing blue eyes again. The city lights blurred together, and I smiled to myself, feeling an inexplicable sense of connection to the mysterious stranger.
But as we disappeared into the night, Adnan's blue eyes seemed to linger in my mind, leaving me with a haunting question – would we meet again?
